Getting Started

Description of the Project 

This ENGINUITY project unites Engineering and Commerce students to design a robotics solution at the intersection of Arts & Sustainability.

Both disciplines collaborate while leveraging their unique expertise:

• Engineering students will apply STEM principles and automation to build a functional ecosystem of robots that interact and communicate.
• Commerce students will develop a comprehensive portfolio of branding assets and strategic marketing reports to position and commercialize the final product(s).

Together, teams will conceptualize, ideate, and present their prototypes and business strategies to industry experts, showcasing innovation, sustainability, and market viability.

Key Dates 

There are 4 prepatory UB Session where students meet with across disciplines while work is completed throughout the semester. 

Key Dates
February 12, 2025 - 12:00 - 13:30  Room N-521 Welcome Session Form: Click here.	Welcome Session - mentors and students come together for the first time. The session begins with an introduction followed by identification of each discipline. 2 scheduled round tables happen within 15 minutes to allow teams to start conversations Students fill out the Welcome Session Form with an introduction of themselves as well as ideas of interest.
February 26, 2025 - 12:00 - 13:30	Ideation Training  This session focused on consolidating preliminary ideas as teams will be formed (some changes may occur depending on the chemistry of students).  Objective: By the end of this session, each team will carve out their project management tasks  division of tasks  secured 3 common meeting times  begin a shared document
April 2, 2025 - 12:00 - 13:30	Conceptualization  A few weeks have past, engineering students will now begin to build the final product. Business students will have created their strategies and begin implementation.  This session will be the confirmation of the prototype, the direction of the company and the design stage.  Objective: By the end of this session, each team will have a draft report with go to action tasks prepared.

Discord is a chat system, it is free and you do not have to put your real name. This allows all of the teams to come together and stay connected through out the project. 

• Each group will have their own private channel 
• Mentors will be able to roam around and help you out as we go
• General Announcements will be made by tagging each group
