PART IX: Future Considerations

PART IX: Future Considerations

Strong case teams often generate more good ideas than they can or should recommend. Some ideas may be strategically attractive but depend on capabilities that do notdon't yet exist. Others may require additional investment, research, market validation, or simply more time. Including all of them in the immediate recommendation can make an otherwise strong strategy feel unfocused. Future considerations give you a place to preserve those ideas without confusing the decision you need to make today. The key is maintaining a clear distinction:

  • Now: This is whatthe core strategy we recommend.
  • Later:These Opportunitiesare opportunities worth exploring once the core strategy succeeds.
